His insurance company appraised the damage, sent me a check, and told me it's mine to do with as I wish (I could keep it or use it for repairs). I decided to keep it and not repair my vehicle. Now, I'm looking at selling my car but I would like to repair it first to increase its value. Could I file a claim with my own insurance company since it was not my fault? I thought my situation would change in 2014 with Obamacare. I recently learned from the healthcare.gov website calculator that our income is low enough to qualify for expanded Medicaid (which our state decided not to expand), but I don't qualify for the health insurance subsidies I desperately need because the outrageous deductible health insurance from my husband's job covers spouses. How can a couple with an income so low they would qualify for expanded Medicaid be ineligible for subsidies? I am completely devastated over this and I don't know what to do. Not being able to afford cancer follow up care is putting my life in danger. Even if my husband's employer (Walmart) quit covering the spouses of full-time employees, I think that would only apply to new hires because of the grandfather clause. If getting subsidies was based on income alone the way it should be instead of access to employer provided coverage, I would qualify for a zero deductible policy and $3 co-pays with a monthly premium of around $60. My Car insurance Progressive won't pay for my stolen car because my insurance got canceld 2 days!?

I brought my car 2 months ago from RPM auto sales! I have full coverage insurance with progressive! April 7th 2009 my mom was suppose to pay my car insurance and on april 9th they sent her a cancelation notice! Then on april 17th it got finalized! Then on april 19th my car got stolen at gas station! I called the cops right away and my insurance! The follow day my insurance said they wont cover it because the insurance was canceld! IS THERE ANYWAY I COULD SUE PROGRESSIVE OR FIND SOMEWAY TO GET THE MONEY FOR THE CAR 00 BONNEVILLE WITH ABOUT 900$ IN SOUND SYSTEM STUFF IN IT! HELP ME PLZ THIS IS MAKING ME SAD AND DEPRESSED!!!
